Germany – Land of Ideas: Weinmann, a place of ideas

Weinmann has been chosen as one of the "Landmarks 2007" in the Land of Ideas initiative. We were recognized for INNOCHAMP, our long-term growth strategy. At the core of INNOCHAMP is internationalization and, of course, innovation. We've set up internal structures to promote motivation and participation and to unleash the best in us: good ideas! We are convinced that when everyone works together, we can forge the greatest possible progress for the markets of the future.

Germany – Land of Ideas

Behind "Germany – Land of Ideas" is a concerted and cooperative business site campaign, initiated by the federal government and German businesses. The goal is to make Germany known as a cosmopolitan country and an economically interesting place to do business. For the "Land of Ideas" patron, German President Horst Köhler, the unusual campaign combines "curiosity and experimentation". According to Köhler, it stands for courage, creativity and a desire for the new, without doing away with the old. In order to present as many facets of the country and the people as possible, a different facility or business will be opened to the public as a "selected landmark" every day of the year.

Approximately 1500 institutions applied for the designation of "selected landmark" in 2007.
