Hamburger Gründerpreis 2008 – Rising Star of the Year

Weinmann receives award in category "Rising Star of the Year"

At a gala in the style of the Oscar awards, the presentation of the coveted Hamburg business prize was celebrated at the historic Fish Auction Hall on 8 September 2008. Three Hamburg companies were honored.  

Dr. Karl-Andreas Feldhahn and Marc-Oliver Griefahn, managing partners at Weinmann, shared the "rising star of the year" award.

The Founder's Award was presented to Stephan Anspichler for his founding of the film production company York Street Productions International.

The harbor businessman Thomas Eckelmann of EUROKAI received an award for lifetime achievement.
