Here are some good examples of our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection:

Compliance with WEEE and RoHS in Production:
In new development and the disposal of electronic devices, we are committed to strict observance of the international directives WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).

Compliance with ISO14062 in Product Development:
We ensure an environmentally compatible product design in conformance with ISO 14062 by using bio-compatible materials and energy-saving, non-heavy metal components and by remaining well within the limits of legal criteria for the homecare field.    

Environmentally-friendly use of energy:
Use of low-energy design of new production lines, modern energy-saving operating facilities and needs-oriented heating systems. 

Active avoidance of waste generation:
Reuse of materials and recycling of packaging – in close cooperation with suppliers – minimize waste.

Active waste management
We protect the environment through careful waste disposal. We sort our waste in general and specially label synthetic parts. In production we bolt metal parts together and avoid use of adhesive connections.

Dealing with hazardous materials:
We do not store environmentally hazardous materials. We comply with hazardous goods regulations and voluntarily use lead-free design for our printed circuit boards.

Energy efficiency:
With our own solar energy collectors, we integrate renewable energy and optimize our energy consumption by doing without electrical logistics systems and by using a needs-oriented illumination system.    

Only recycled packaging material:
Our shipping partners and we use only recycled cardboard packaging.
