Our top goal is to satisfy our customers' requirements. Our efforts are directed at gaining and keeping customers' trust and confidence. The brand name WEINMANN stands for our promise that a product is safe and ready for use. We set high standards for our products and services and consistently satisfy them through strict adherence to our quality policy. Our quality management system contributes greatly to reaching the goal of complete customer satisfaction.

Medical device manufacturers in Europe are legally required to have a quality management system which complies with EG Directive 93/42/EC Medical Devices Act and DIN EN ISO 13485 standards for Quality Management Systems. More stringent regulations and certifications that apply to worldwide trade have been integrated in the Weinmann QM system.

Quality leadership

Weinmann strives to be the quality leader among its international competitors, says Quality Management Director Dr. Ralf Egenolf. The company conducts a Continuous Improvement Process for products and services and counts on employee commitment and personnel development to reach quality goals.

Progress is measured against customer satisfaction levels. Weinmann knows its customers' requirements and works to fulfill them every time. Defects and errors are analyzed and corrected. Potential problems are identified and prevented. Opportunities are recognized and pursued.

Internal audits are conducted regularly in all operational areas and annual external audits are made by the Notified Body of the TÜV [Technical Inspection Agency] in Rhineland. This internationally respected technical services company has certified products and quality management systems for international markets for many years.

These checks ensure that Weinmann maintains a high level of quality, particularly in processes in Research and Development, Supply Chain Management, Production, and Quality Management – and, of course, in our products and services.
