Headgear

If a ventilation mask does not fit right and causes leakage or leaves pressure marks on the face, the entire course of therapy is jeopardized. Besides the composition of the mask itself, the fit is determined to a great extent by the headgear. If the headgear is stiff and inflexible, it can put too much pressure on the mask. If it is made of low-quality material that loses its shape, the mask will slip out of place. And if the patient has trouble putting the headgear on the head or the mask, he may lose his motivation to follow through with treatment.

Our headgear models HEADstrap and JOYCEstrap are made of high-quality, breathable material.

The four-point headgear HEADstrap suits every head size and is very easy to use. You simply thread the straps through the slits and adjust to any size, fitting the straps easily and quickly across the back of the patient's head. Unlike with most conventional headgear, you can be sure that HEADstrap will not apply pressure to the patient's neck.

Headgear for all Weinmann mask models and sizes

The circular opening holds the headgear firmly on the back of the head and makes annoying slippage a thing of the past. The crosswise strap construction provides even more holding power.

HEADstrap is made of breathable, skin-friendly material and is available with the headgear clips (WM 26360 for JOYCE, JOYCE GEL, JOYCE Full Face, JOYCE Full Face GEL, JOYCE Full Face^plus) or with EasyClip (WM 26365 for SOMNOmask and SOMNOplus).

HEADstrap is delivered with our mask sets, but may also be purchased separately.
