APAP therapy adapts to the patient, automatically adjusting therapy pressure to the sleeping patient's needs. In response to respiratory events such as apnea, hypopnea, flow limitation and snoring, SOMNOsmart 2 automatically makes suitable adjustments.

The precise recognition of events in SOMNOsmart 2 is based on the special combination of the OPS (Oscillatory Pressure Signal), flow and snoring signals. The unique algorithm ensures that the most effective therapy pressure is always applied to give the sleeping patient gentle and dependable care.
